Grand Targhee is a relatively unknown “powder paradise”, often ranked in the top three resorts for snow on the continent. It is located on the western side of the Grand Tetons. Thus it receives abundant snow as the high peaks of the Grand Tetons (13,700 ft) trap all the snowstorms traveling eastward from the Pacific.
