A gem because of its abundant snow (350+ inches) and uncrowded slopes along with its laidback friendly atmosphere and people. It is located along the Continental Divide and so it benefits from storms from both the Pacific Northwest and the Southwest. No snow making here. A chance for some fresh tracks and you can also take advantage of Monarch’s 130 acres of “hike to terrain” for even more fresh tracks!
